Ethical issues is usually the reason people are veggie, often deciding it is wrong to eat an animal. Other ethical reasons such as the way the animals are housed and slaughtered are also good reasons to go veggie. Factory farming is getting worse. Despite legislation chickens are still packed into tiny cages where they attack each other through boredom and frustration. Veal is calf's that are brought up in total darkness, fed nothing but milk their whole lives. If you want to find out more about these issues then there are plenty of sites such as peta.org, who fight for these animals. The other bonus of the vegetarian diet is that, when not eating saturated fats, it can help you to loose weight and prevent heart disease.
For whatever reason you decide to go veggie, don't worry, its not as hard as it seams. If you are certain about doing it then go ahead and do it.

You can read any board you like, get recipes, read other peoples views and get info. But you wont be able to post anything without first registering ad logging in. Its simple, quick and easy. All you need to do is click register at the top of the forums page, or in the links to the left of this page and fill out the form.
